Ashwini Pasalkar
FOUNDER
Paw Langar Foundation was just a concept. However the same was brought to life by Ashwini Pasalkar in the year 2020.
Despite being a tough year due to the overall pandemic situation around the world, Ms. Ashwini Pasalkar managed to feed many stray dogs and cats which were living hungry and helpless on streets. The initial idea of Ms. Ashwini Pasalkar behind starting Paw Langar Foundation was that no soul should sleep hungry, as the name also suggests – Langar meaning a place wherein food is served.
Ms. Ashwini Pasalkar further ventured into rescue, rehabilitation and providing for trearment of injured, abandoned and abused stray dogs and cats and with this expanded motive, Paw Langar Foundation was officially registered in the year 2022.
As of today Ms. Ashwini Pasalkar has been running the Foundation on her own merits and to the best of her capacity by providing daily meals to strays, rescuing and treating needy strays and much more.

Ms. Dhanashree has been an active Co-Founder along with Ms. Ashwini Pasalkar, who has given shape to this dream of starting Paw Langar Foundation.
Ms. Dhanashree has actively looked after obtaining required registrations for Paw Langar Foundation along with Ms. Ashwini Pasalkar. She has been one of the supporting pillars for Paw Langar Foundation during inception.
Ashlesha Phatak
Ms. Ashlesha Phatak, a like minded person and having her love for strays, has been helping Paw Langar Foundation in raising valuable donations for our cause.
Her involvement has been a major helping hand for most of our cases. She also helps by sourcing desired connects for our noble cause.

Our work is built on a comprehensive strategy that balances animal welfare with community well-being:
Responsible Feeding: We establish fixed feeding spots and schedules, maintain cleanliness, collaborate with local authorities, and educate residents on best practices.
Medical Care & Sterilization: We provide sterilizations, vaccinations, deworming, and treatment for injuries, ensuring strays are healthy and populations are controlled.
Rescue & Rehabilitation: From minor injuries to end-stage care, we offer rapid response and compassionate treatment to save lives.
Adoption Advocacy: Our “Adopt, Don’t Shop” movement has facilitated over 30 adoptions since 2022, promoting hardy local breeds as loving pets.

Since our inception in 2022, Paw Langar Foundation has grown from a small group of animal lovers to a impactful organization managing over 1200 canine cases. With a 75% reduction in new pup litters in four areas and over 30 successful adoptions, we are making steady progress toward animal-friendly communities. Every step forward is a testament to the support of our donors, volunteers, and community partners.
